I have to interrupt our meditations on Holy Mass, because I have to inform you I was not feeling well a few days ago and got a positive test for COVID-19
I got two tests, the first on Saturday 15, which came negative; but Sunday morning I didn’t feel very well, so I got tested another test before masses. Unfortunately, I tested positive. I am feeling basically okay, and with no fever.
I am quarantining at the rectory for the next 5 days, and the office is closed during these days. God willing, next week I’ll be back.
Thankfully we keep the schedule of masses, priests who has not been exposed are replacing me.
If you or any member of your family displays symptoms consistent with COVID-19, I urge you to consult with your physician. Persons fully vaccinated against COVID-19 have a lower risk from exposure but may still develop a mild or asymptomatic infection. Symptoms of COVID-19 include coughing, fever, loss of taste or smell, and shortness of breath. It is important to follow all guidelines provided at this time, including staying at home, continuing preventive measures, and practicing social distancing.
I would like to thank the many people who contacted me, and assured me their prayers! Also, I would like to thank everyone who helped me out during these days! May God reward your charity!
