Dear Parishioners, We are about to make the commitment for the Annual Appeal 2023 of the Archdiocese of Washington. Let me thank you, again, for your cooperation last year! I ask you to prayerfully consider your gift for this year 2023. As you know, the Annual Appeal is different from your weekly offertory giving to the parish. There are three things that make the Appeal special: First, the Annual Appeal unites us with our Archbishop in serving the many, charitable needs of the Church in Washington. Second, the Annual Appeal funds ministries that our parish could not sustain on our own, such as seminarian formation, campus ministries programs and Deaf and disabilities ministries. Third, the Annual Appeal supports our parish ministerial life, from schools and catechesis, to family and pro-life ministries, to many more in between. Next weekend will be our commitment weekend. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support! Your steadfast generosity not only is a source of inspiration for me but a force for good in our Church today. Have a great Sunday! God bless you all!! Fr Pablo Bonello IVE

The 2022 Annual Appeal is here! This year’s theme is From God’s Abundance, Our Gifts of Charity to remind us that everything we have and share with others is from our loving Father. Through our collective support of the Annual Appeal, we strengthen the Body of Christ that is our local Church, and we sustain her many charitable works that serve the spiritual and other needs of all those within and beyond our parish boundaries. Please consider a commitment to the 2021 Annual Appeal this weekend at home or in-person. Your gift will be credited toward our parish goal. Learn more about the Annual Appeal at appeal.adw.org.
I have to interrupt our meditations on Holy Mass, because I have to inform you I was not feeling well a few days ago and got a positive test for COVID-19 I got two tests, the first on Saturday 15, which came negative; but Sunday morning I didn’t feel very well, so I got tested another test before masses. Unfortunately, I tested positive. I am feeling basically okay, and with no fever. I am quarantining at the rectory for the next 5 days, and the office is closed during these days. God willing, next week I’ll be back. Thankfully we keep the schedule of masses, priests who has not been exposed are replacing me...
